TRYOUT INFORMATION
The 2023-2024 Lane College Cheerleading Spring Tryouts will be held at the Lane College Cheerleading Practice Gym (old Lincoln Elementary School, 425 Berry St. Jackson, TN 38301)
Saturday, April 13, 2024 starting at 1:00 PM
Saturday, May 4, 2024 starting at 1:00 PM.

2023-2024 Tryout Requirements
First-year & Transfer Students
- Must be admitted to Lane College for the 2022-2023 academic year.
- Must submit an unofficial transcript.
Current Lane College students:
- Enrolled full time
- Cumulative & Current GPA of 2.5 or above
- No disciplinary infractions.
All students must:
- Current Health Insurance (a copy of insurance card MUST BE PRESENT at tryouts)
- Agree to Program's Expectations

RED TEAM SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Standing Back Handspring or Standing Tuck (Highly Recommended but not required)

Running Tumbling (Highly Recommended but not required)

Jumps to Tumbling (Highly Recommended but not required)

Basic partner stunts (Chairs, Walk-in to Hands)

Group Stunt (Prep, Extensions, Arabesques)

Game Day Cheer

WHITE TEAM (COMPETITION AND TRAVEL TEAM) REQUIREMENTS
